Rob Fullmer was educated at MIT, receiving his B.S. in Aero/Astro Engineering in 1989. He worked in the IT department at Rice University in Houston, TX from 1990-1998, serving as the coordinator of Rice's Consulting Center (Help Desk) the last few years of that time. He was the Director of User Services at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA in 1998-1999, and the Director of IT Projects from 1999-2000.

After working as an IT consultant to Portland and Vancouver area businesses from 2000-2004, Rob became Portland State University's first IT Specialist for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences in January of 2005.
